I may be ignorant, but I have never heard that this car is equivalent to an M3. It may look the same, but I'm pretty sure that it does not have the M3 powerplant, or the suspension that has made the E36 M3 so famous. I'd take a peek under the hood of the car, and if there's no M power insignia or logo there, you're looking at a 325 with a body kit. --Seth
