I have just installed an Z919 in my M3, and it is fantastic ... the look is very cool, and it can play CD-R, CD-RW that have been burned with MP3's, and give you up to 10 hours of high quality music on one CD-R! The downside is the Z919 does not have a removable faceplate, so your car has to have an alarm, which with most M3 is not an issue.

So my Kenwood Excelon PS905 mask motor pooped out on me. $100 to replace(I'm willing to take it off my hands for $40). I was pretty happy w/ the Kenwood :o(

What are some quality head units between $300 to $500 that look good w/ the M3's amber display? I'm not looking for anything extremely flashly; the plainer the better.

Thanks for the help.
