Got hit with laser gun doing 75 in a 55 by Wesport PD on 95.

The ticket took a whole 5 minutes to write and he was on his way for the next one.

The question....CT has eliminated the point system. What effect does the plea on no contest have on insurance rates and the like?

Since I am a NY driver, any tickets I receive do not show up on my license and haven't efected my insurance either. Got to love an out of state slicense.

FYI: For you CT licensed drivers....the new rules the following:

3 moving violations in 6 months to a year (copy wasn't sure which) and you have to go to traffic school and are put on probation. Another ticket and your license is suspended Again, this does not effect me since I have a NY license. The best CT can do is ban me from driving in the state.
