This is more of a personal decision. Both are great car. You have to figure out what is your priority.

M3:
-Much faster car
-Handle much better
-It's a M car w/ the M prestige!
-You have the top of the line 3 series

325ic:
-You have a brand new BMW w/ the full 4yr/40k mi warranty
-It's a newer body style and much roomier and better quality interior.
-More confomfortable ride on the streets
-Less money to mantain
-You are driving the cheapest 3 series.

So there you have it, just choose what is more important to you.
