The recent archives, including this current page, will have many M3s for sale (FS) or their selling prices being discussed. That should enlighten you as to what to expect to pay depending on mileage, condition and year you choose.
Finally, as with any car, mileage does play a part in how much value is left in a car but since BMWs in general hold their value well and M3s particularly well don't expect to find even a high mileage M3 for a down and dirty price. If an M3 is taken care of and normal preventative maintenace is performed there is no reason it won't be quite road worthy well past 200,000 miles. ![]()

I want an E36 M3 to drive occasionally on the street and to Solo and track day with. Any real difference in the years? What is the market on these cars now? Any problem with higher mileage cars? Thanks.
