The car has excellent composure in the slippery stuff. Now that the snow tires are on, my 97 goes right through just about everything with good traction, as long as one doesn't decide to get silly. After an all night, knee-deep snowfall my M3 was a white-out. I powered out of the deep snow and onto the paved road with no problem. The car is just so overwhelmingly competent sometimes....
