For an 97 M3/4:

Base Price: 39,380
Electric Sunroof: 950
Elec. Frt. Seats: 945
Fold Down Rear Seats: 300
Heated Front Seats: 500
Cruise Control: 475
On-Board Computer: 500
Harmon Kardon: 675
Destination/Handling Charge: 570
Total: 44,295

I think the only thing I am missing is the rear spoiler but it should not be more than 750.

Kinda hard to believe that your friend paid 55k. But if he paid sticker and you factor in taxes, license fees, finance charges... it could add up to 55k. I paid way below sticker and I paid less than 55k including everything.

what about the lux package? do sedans cost more? I thought bench seats cost more than fold downs?
