we had a car stolen in 1995, 2 weeks after we moved. It was a 1988 Fiero Formula with 20k miles. Allstate not only was fair and quick, the claims adjuster was actually a car guy and knew what an 88 Fiero was (as opposed to the 84-87's) and had me use Hemmings and CTI to come up with a fair replacement value for the car. I ended up making $1500 after the deductable. Same thing for when my 85.5 SVO was totaled in 1989. Made money there too.
