if you want to go for a CF bonnet... why not leave it as it is?? when you go into the resale situation, there are more chances for you to sell as it is... don't you think so?!

I would definitely leave it as it is... just like my ACs carbon fibre body kits.... I leave them as they are with a bit of paint on them only...
