There's a '98 M3/4-door, the car I've always wanted, for sale at the local dealership for around $35K. It has 19.7K miles and appears to be in good shape. But with only a year left on the 4/50,000 warranty, there's not much time for problems to appear and be repaired on BMW's tab. It would be more sensible to get a 2001 325i with sport package -- a new car with a full warranty and the benefits of ten years of technological advances. Opinions? If '98 M3s are bulletproof, I'm going with the M3. Need input from owners...
