Get something to pry it, it should just snap off.

I am just about to install a Conforti chip in my car and need to remove the computer(ECU). The instriuctions say to remove three plastic "buttons" that hold on the engine compartment insulation over the ECU. How do they come off; do they just liftup/snap off or are they screws? Any other suggestions to facilitate the ECU removal? Thanks!
