NJ State Police in Nissan Xterra!?.. (more) (archive)

I got stopped yesterday after the Bridgewater gathering while i was double-parked on a street in Elizabeth with my hazard lights on.. (mind you that they were the dreaded purple bulbs which have got me so many tickets in the past). Anyway, he pulls up behind me, strobes me, and sounds a siren. NO OTHER DISTINCTIVE FEATURES ON TRUCK AT ALL. I thought it was some guy with a strobe kit being a pain in the ass, but when I see someone step out in a NJ SP uniform, i basically shit in my pants. "License,registration..etc,.....those blue bulbs are illegal you know..". So i said "Yea i forgot i had'em in blah blah i can change them for u now if you want." LUCKILY he let me change them without a ticket. SO IF YOU'RE IN JERSEY, WATCH OUT FOR STATE POLICE IN EXTREMLY UNMARKED CARS!
