Is it merely a different airbox?

HFM stands for "Hot film Mass" or "Hot Film Meter"..it's the device that sits after your airfilter. If you have OBDI this will add some extra power, if you convert to a larger (Euro)one from your stock, U.S.-spec one. CYA>PM3
