I just recently bought a 96 dinan (stage 2) supercharged M3, and right before i bought it, it had new cams and all cam related equipment replaced. It has been 750 miles since the repair, and i finally got around to laying into the car for the first time since i've owned it. Low end power is nuts, but the car just acts like it doesn't wanna make power above 5,500rpm. It only has 49000 miles, and it had a complete value job about 20000 miles ago, i don't know what the heck is going on. Is this just how the dinan kit is, or what the hell is the deal? Does the car get quicker as the cams break in and settle in? Also, how long should ya let the cams break in the first place? I just expected the top end power to meet the lowend torque grunt, and it's just not matching up. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you
Eric
