On the dominance of the Smack Attack: The Giants controlled the ball for 18:53 of the first half, but didn't move the ball into Ravens territory until 5:17 was left in the second quarter. They were driven back into their own territory two plays later on a Keith Washington sack. They ran a total of just four plays in Ravens territory -- an incompletion, a sack, a punt and an interception.
Of course the Ravens scored from both sides of the ball. I predicted a special teams TD and a defensive TD, and they delivered. I only forsaw about 3 points from the offense, but they delivered 20. REDSKINS FANS, EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!
Best Moment: Paul "Build a Museum not a Football Stadium" Tagliabue (what kinda fu**ed up name is Tagliabue anyway?) awarding the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Art Modell. Thank you Art! CLEVELAND FANS, EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!
And to the rest of the league: Get yourselves a "killer" for a middle linebacker -- a killer talent like Ray Lewis that is -- best middle linebacker to play the game since Lawrence Taylor (when the Giants were really Giants!)
GO RAVENS, GO RAVENS, GO RAVENS, GO!!!
