Working in downtown Detroit I get to drive our wonderful freeways everyday. I-94 has got to be one of the worst freeways in the country when it comes to potholes. They seem to magically change places too, like driving a different slalom course to work everyday. Asphalt trucks just can't keep up with the freeze / thaw cycle around here.

With the Potenzas that came on my 97 from the dealer, the car is tricky indeed on anything snowy. I only got it three weeks ago and its killing me to have to park it so much. If only my down payment wasn't so big I would've gotten a set of Blizzaks. Oh well, just waiting for those income tax returns. I took it out tonight cause it didn't look to bad and had the ABS kick in hardcore when breaking a bit late for a stop sign. Damn I need some nice dry weather to get used to this thing. Sooo fast. As far as handling potholes, if you have to hit one make sure you got a decent amount of air pressure in those tires. I was actually suprised at how well the M3 can take a bump if it has too. Not too shabby.

Hope you get one soon
