AA is fairly mild compared to others in terms of decibels, but is certianly louder than stock, and has nice sound QUALITY. It is not "mean and deep", however. Supersprint is very close to stock in decibels - but sounds a tad nicer with a lil more character, but far from "mean and deep". Any exhaust that sounds "mean and deep" is gonna be pretty loud (and prone to drone). I think the UUC is very mean and deep, yet bearable on a long run. Check my post below for a pic.

Do you know if the AA is available in DTM tips and how does it sound at WOT? I want something to be mean and deep sounding. The only clip I have is the one from AA and you can hardly hear it over the dyno.

It is THE loudest. UUC is not as loud, but still pretty loud. It does drone slightly when cruising over 85 mph. I'd stay away from the B&B and look for the AA or Supersprint. Even the UUC may be a bit much for frequent 5 hr drives.

I'm 18, but I hate being in cars where all you can hear is the exhaust. I got an M3 partially for the luxury quality of it and I want a fairly quiet ride. Also, I will be making frequent 5 hour drives during the year and I don't want to have to listen to an annoying droning coming from my exhaust for 5 hours straight. I just want something that is deep and sounds mean(especially at WOT), without the drone and a lot of interior noise. What do you think?

But from what I compared at idle and revving the engine, the loud isn't much louder than my quiet. How old are you? Us young kids don't seem to mind the sound, some like it louder. It's just the old fogies that complain that it's too loud. =P

But maybe I just don't notice because I'm always playin' music.

How does the Tri-Flo sound at cruising speeds? Does it drone you out? What do you think of it?

Looking into exhausts. Need opinions. AA looks really nice. UUC sounds badass. I hear Supersprint is whimpy. I hear all kinds of nightmare install stories. How the heck do you decide? What convinced you to go with (insert brand name here)?
