Yeah, I got that e-mail, too. I'm sure it does whatever the Dinan does, assuming its a close replica. Let's face it, constructing a CAI is not rocket science - that's why I laugh at Conforti's $500 intake. What a joke. At least the Dinan uses carbon fiber tubing, which is SOME justification for the high price (if cf turns you on). The problem with the Dinan, and probably this new item, is that you have to removed the entire head light assembly just to clean the air filter. Plus it is not compatible with the euro lights. Its good to see some more competition in the aftermarket.
