.....conductor of heat. So when your car is sitting at a light and heating up, that nice shiny aluminum is absorbing all that heat and transferring it to the air going into the engine.


supposedly it is made of 1/8 inch polished aluminum and keeps all of the engine heat out.

uh, when that thick aluminum gets warmed up when driving around at low speed, I suppose it retains heat nicely for a while after you get on the highway.
