In Reply to: BMW cover warped rotors? posted by Paul E on January 31, 2001 at 09:36:19:

Has anybody had success with getting BMW to cover warped rotors after 20K miles are on the car? My dealer just told me flat out that unless its in the new car adjustment period, BMW will not cover rotors that warp, and considers them to fall under wear and tear.

I'm going to have them mic them tomorrow, just to make sure, and it they're warped, I'm going to order the Euro floating rotors. Are they a straight forward bolt on installation, just as the stock rotors, and, will they resist warpage better..

Thanks.
