I prefer the HTRZ in the original tread design. Thetrendy tread design of the HTRZII does not wear evenly and cups easily, whereas the smaller tread block design of the "original" HTRZ does not.

FWIW, I bought my 97/4 in Sept with BRAND new tires on it. The seller had installed the II's all around, but all 4 were the front tire size (225). I insisted on putting the correct size rears on and all that was avail on such short notice was the original HTRZ's. I am VERY happy with those, very UNHAPPY with the noisy HTRZII's onthe front. Yes, I have already swapped the front tires inside out to even out the tread cupping, did not have to do on the rear yet. All tires have 8k miles on them now.
