Based on your description, here's what I believe happened to you.
You start turning left.
Weight transfer to right side of car.
Rear tires loose traction - oversteer.
You sense this and counter-steer to the right while getting off the gas and braking.
Three things happen simultaneously. 1. Weight goes to the front tires giving them more traction and taking traction (although there wasn't much back there) from the rear tires.
2. Front tires hook up going to the right.
3. At the same time, the right side springs are compressed and storing lots of energy. They push the car back onto its left side making the situation worse.
Rear, unweighted tires, with no traction, now pass the car on the left with help from the energy release from the springs.
Exactly one-half of a tank-slapper. In our RMC BMW CCA classes, we tell students about the natural oscillation back and forth and the car actually can reach a certain 'frequency' of the tank slapper where you will not recover and it will spin.

Holy smokes. I just barely managed to prevent a total
360 and did a 180 instead. I was going around this corner
that I used to take around 50 MPH in my 325i, well I figured
my M should be much more smooth. I tried the corner at 55 to 60 MPH, if even that. Let me say that I am not a professional driver but I have attended the BMWCCA's driving
Then next thing I feel the back end starting to brake loose. I countered steered and the did a reverse 180. Let me explain this part. It was a left hand turn so I felt the
back end coming around on the right. I put on the brakes and
countersteered this is when the car's rear end swung back to the left. The rear end swung 180 degress so I ended up facing the wrong way on the road.
Anyways, what's up with the ASC. I thought this is what is was for to stop the oversterring?
I took out my spare tire, now shouldn't this cause more understeer instead of oversteer (since I took some weight off the back end?).
Also, the pavement was absolutely dry. I have already learned my lesson about driving fast in the wet.
