I'm new to the forum, so please treat me gently. In search of effective, bolt-on performance for my '98 M3 Coupe. Have about 2 large to invest, so I'm looking for bang for the buck. I have doubts about Dinan, Autothority, and JC performance software based on what I've read so far in the forum. Whose marketing literature should I believe? Do CAI, air-mass sensors, throttle bodies, new exhaust etc., really work on OBDII cars? Would I be better off saving my money for the E46 M3, or a Boxster S?

My car is bone stock, save for an x-brace. Any friendly advice offered would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark B. Alpine White '98 M3/2.
