And to say "it boils down to driver skill", is pointless. You can say that about any closely matched cars. However, the bottom line is that one IS quicker than the other when driven by the same driver under the same conditions. The 3.2 has more power, more torque, and earlier in the rev range and everywhere else. It has shorter gearing, too. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. The mags confirm this. Its not a big difference - but it is a difference. If you take a 95 and give it more low-end, more mid range, and more top-end, and then shorten the gearing, what do you THINK happens to acceleration?


And I've seen 95 3.0's dyno at 258 - fact remains both #'s are within production tolerances & neither one ( 3.0 or 3.2 ) will always outperform the other - the best driver will usually be faster!!
