warped front rotors if when braking, or broken u-joint in drive shaft if felt when accelerating.
but if it's all the time, probably the wheel out of balance or a bent rim.. you may have hit a pot hole recently that could have caused that.

Recently I've been feeling(at times very strong)a pulsating that can be felt through the steering wheel. It seems to come and go but it does seem to change frequency with speed. Its becoming more and more noticable with occasional thoughts of actually pulling off the road(thought I had a flat tire) because of the steering wheel vibration. When I come to a slow stop the car seems to jerk back and forth with the steering wheel pulsating. This happens whether or not applying the brakes. Anyone have a similar experience or any ideas? Thanks, Bill
