Adam,
Although I have never heard of CGI I can tell you that Gingerman is a great track for first timers and veterans alike. If the gentleman that owns Gingerman is letting CGI do a drivers school then I am sure they are a good group as he is a car nut/Driver himself.
As far as preperation for your first school? I would make sure you have good brake pads on the front. My choice for first schoolers are Performance Friction Z rated, available at Auto Zone or many other BMW vendors. Change your brake fluid, get a good helmet, pump up those street tires(4Opsi Front cold/36 Rear cold), check your ego at the gate and go there to learn, concetrate on gaining speed as you become confidant. Other that that? HAVE A BLAST, as I'm sure you will.
D.
Hope to see you at many Midwestrn Track events in the future.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with CGI Motorsports? They are offering a driving school at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. Are they any good, do they have good instructors, etc? Also, this will be my first time on a road course so what kind of advice can you give as to how to prep my '98 M3. I have heard that I might want to update my brakes with better brake pads as the stock pads will wear too quickly. Are there any other areas I might want to upgrade?

All advice appreciated.
