First off, it's against the law for a body shop to do this, so with the exception of 1% of all customers who can talk the body shop into doing it, they just wouldn't try. Second, these stickers look like they'd be fairly damaged when removing them from the panel. It's not like a big plastic backed sticker, but is fairly flimsy. The only possbility that I'd worry about is if someone had new stickers made, with their VIN number on them, but that's not very likely. I'd assume that the print shop wouldn't do this, and that even if they would, it'd set the buyer back a decent amount.
