yes US M3's use 9006s. All pre 1996 Euro spec M3's use the H1 ellipsoids that everybody here in the US buys. All post 1996 Euro spec M3's use parabolic relfector technology, NOT ellipsoid. They use H7 bulbs.

My question is, has anybody installed HID into these parabolic reflectors?
