I'm pretty new to the board, but have seen some postings about if you go over 7k rpms you toast the engine. I've heard the term rev-limiter b4, assuming that it prevents excessively high rpms from occuring. I'm guessing the M3 doesn't have one?

I just bought an M3, and am a bit concerned about it. Will i have to keep my eyes peeled on the RPM gauge for every rapid acceleration to make sure i keep under 6.5/7k?
