I got my first M3 this way. Both good and bad.
I live in RI and bought the car "almost sight unseen" in FL. I had a friend of a friend check it out. And then, I hired a dealer to look it over also.
The good part...I have the best car I ever owned.
The bad part...I put out alot of cash before actually seeing the car. Next time, I won't do that again. I will fly to see it myself B4 putting out the cash, even if it ends up costing me more up-front.
