Try the Yoko Intermediates. They are one step down from the Sport tires.

Their biggest problem is the tire life......but I have gotten somewhere between 10,000-15,000 so far. They kick ass in the rain and dry. I have no problems with these tires.

The best part.....they cost $100 each now (130 when I picked them up). They used to be Yoko's top tire.....replaced by the Sports.

If you read the review of these tires you will see they have kick ass dry performance (close to the Sport's) and good wet (I have never had a problem with them).

The best part is that they are high performance tires....just an older revision.

i have a 98 M3 sedan. i have to change all 4 tires. now i am not a track guy, but i do drive hard when i get the chance. which brand should i get (mich, yoko, pir, BF G, etc). i am also planning on ordering it from tire rack? is that a good/bad idea? all advice welcome.
