I'm talking about the baffle right before the air filter and the horn shaped tube right after the air filter. The one right after the air filter is really important. It smooths out the airflow and is specifically shaped as per specifications for the engine electronics. The one before the air filter also helps smooth out airflow. I dyno'ed my car before and after removing that one (without the snorkel from the front) and there was actually more power from leaving it in.

People who say it's the best thing they've ever done fall prey to the head dyno. Ooooh...sounds louder...therefore I must be making more power. ...yeah...as a matter of fact, I feel it pulling harder too.
