Im assuming because a reprogram can only go so far but a chip can do more. A pysical chip would not let the computer go back to normal, so a pysical chip prevents the system going back to normal because that is the nature of a chip vs. a reprogram which naturally is meant to go back and forth. From what i hear the shark does not make that big of a difference, Im thinking that this chip would make more of a difference. for more questions email them and ask.

like when obd2 cars recieve new programs, the computer sometimes reverts back to normal. would a physical chip prevent this in any way? if not, i don't see any real benefits over the SI. thanks for the input.
