First off, I dont know why your shifting?? second off, why not just leave it in drive (or were you using tiptronic)?? the light bulb underneath probably burned out, you need to replace that at dealership i guess.

He was putting it into 'M' or manual mode and was just moving through the gears. Some people with autos use this method when they're road racing.
