When I bought mine 5/7/99 (w/4 miles) it had just shipped. still had the plastic on the seats and battery disconnected for shipping.
the dealer (BMW peabody, MA) said it was the last one they recieved, and had been advised that no more would be shipped.

But who are you gonna believe?
