How would you go about making the decision? What criteria have any of you with SC used to decide? I see prices anywhere from 4500-7000 (Dinan). It'd be nice to test drive one.

...to start. ESS came out to be the best bang for the buck. Look at installation requirements also...Dinan systems state 20 hours to do it. And at $94/hour at a dealer...well, you figure it out. ESS states 6-8 hours for the 'weekend mechanic'...OK, it took me (and my brother-in-law) 10 hours but that was due to the terrible directions. If I had to do it again, we could do it in the 6-8 no problem. ESS uses the same powerdyne blower as Dinan, however, ESS replaces the internal bearings with ones that are 3X better. I basically tried to weigh performance versus cost...sure the turbos are faster, but also very expensive. how much is a half of a second worth to you? 10K? how much money do you want to spend?
