Or you could just need a balance. M3 wheels are sensitive and generally need both inboard and outboard weights to balance properly. Some won't use outboard weights because of looks. Also, your wheels could be slightly off-spec. Have a mechanic check the runout when they do the balance. The motorsport wheels bend very easily and the lux wheels are even worse ( a good pothole will do it). By bent, I don't mean visibly dented or warped but just slightly off spec. The wheels can be straightened, but few places do it well, so check them out first.

Okay guys, Help!

I have a 98 M3/4 that has about 55,000 miles on it. The tires I have are Yoko AVS Sports, and they've been on for about 3,000 miles. From 80 MPH and up, there is this vibration that gets increasingly worse. My wheels are not bent, I've never hit a curb. I just had them balanced 3 days ago, and they said the front two were out of balance. The vibration is still there.

My question is, how often to you rebalance?
How often do you check air pressure?
What pressure do you guys run in your tires?
And most importantly, what the hell could this be?

Kinda strange, the only thing I could think would be an alignment, and that doesn't sound very fun.
Anyone know the price of an alignment at a dealership?

Thanks so much for your help.
