... has a very imformative article on Car Covers and how to use them and what to do. I also received (I did end up giving him $50) a nice car cover when I bought my M3 from the previous owner. I have not used it yet, mainly because I have a garage and travel quite a bit for work.
Everytime I leave before a long trip, the car is a bit too dirty and I have the same fear that you do with the cover being worse for the finish if there is dirt underneath. Good luck ...

As a supplemental question while we're talking car care, who uses car covers regularly? The owner of my car threw in a nice Noah car cover but I'm scared that if I put it on when the car's even slightly dusty, the dirt particles will scratch the clear coat. A dust remover seems a good idea but any thoughts?

Thanks again!
