Well, I had my engine dynoed over the weekend. The dyno was one of the Mustang versions.
Anyway, it measured a max of 181 bhp/154 lbs of torque at the rear wheels! What the?!
This S50usB30 engine has forged pistons and Conforti's CAI w/euro HFM. I was expecting 225 Bhp at the rear wheels!

Can someone shed some light on this. Is this a compression problem? The engine has 9000 kms on it since it was rebuilt.

Thanks in advance.

You need to check out AA's web site for an explanation on the difference between Mustang and Dynojet hp/tourque numbers. There is a large difference with the Mustang reading significantly
lower numbers with the same car. Hope this helps.
