wrong... that's the unladen, no options weight according to the BMW brochures... if it really says that in your manual, it's a misprint. If you don't believe me, go weigh the car. Our local recycling center has a car scale. Mine weighs in at 3280 lbs. with full gas and no driver (sunroof, side airbags, power seats, HK stereo).


if you read the manual carefully it says 3175 is the weight of the car with full tank of gas and driver in it. So the car can actually be much lighter in theory
