i have standard amp with a sony ES head unit.

so i go to unofficialbmw.com and get the wiring diagram for a 325 stereo (i assumed it was the same, may be wrong here).

so far, so good.

i tap into the line level feeds into the amp with inline, splice on connecters, which in turn feed rca plugs to the xover.

i hook the whole mess up. i check my connections 3 times to make sure i've got it right. (i have done this many times, in about 6 different vehicles, always with success).

No go. no sound. nothing.

I disconnect the rca plugs, pull the fuse from the amp and it works as before, in other words, passable, but no bass.

what am i doing wrong? thanks...

btw, i checked the archives already.....
