I had the latest UUC shifter with ERK. The bearings would blow about every 5 months with hard track use.

The ACS kit is not just a shift lever, it replaces the lever/arm/socket thingy (don't know what its called) the shift lever is attached too. The shift lever and arm/lever/socket thingy come already together and replace the whole shifting unit. I think thats why the ACS kit feels so solid and has very little play. Its also why the shifter can sit higher (Factory hight) and still have the shortest throw. Cause they are able to alter the pivit point.
