I recently did a 2 day driving school at Road America with EBC Reds. This was my first school so I can't really compare the pads to anything else, but I thought they were good. They stopped evenly throughout each session and pedal modulation at the threshold was good. I thought they did wear fast however, With 3 sessions each day over 2 days they were down to the backing plates. I actually had to cut my final session short because the pad sensor light came on, I came in and checked them and sure enough they were gone. I wasn't dissapointed with the EBC's but I thought I'd try something else for my next school. I called RacerParts wholesale and they told me PF90's were discontuined for E36 BMW's. I've heard they have a 97 compound coming out but RacerParts couldn't confirm this. I've heard Hawks are too hard on rotors and the dust may damage a street car so I guess I'll Try the porterfields next.
