Okay here's my research that I have done on the main three (3):

1 Source Auto Warranty
Warranty Direct
Warranty Gold
BMW

BMW is about $2,750. Overpriced, so I won't be going to them.

1 Source for 5yrs/100kmiles is about $4k! Right there that's WAY overpriced (about double from the dealer). So at that point I stopped.

Now it's down to 2

Both Warranty (Direct & Gold) offer similar prices and coverage. Here's where they differ.

W.Direct offers free roadside assistance for the life of the contract. W.Direct's contract starts immediately upon purchase of the contract, but if you still have your original mfgr warranty, it will commence when that one ends. W.Direct offers sales periodically.

W.Direct does have some BBB complaints (Better Business Bureau) and is in litigation (here are the links):

But after having these issues explained by W.Direct I felt satisified. Again this was all brought to my attention from their competitor W.Gold. I guess this business is pretty competitive.

My car's previous owner had W.Direct but since she sold the car to a dealer and not to me it's voided but I will go with

W.Gold contract does not start immediately upon purchase, it starts AFTER 30 days & 1k miles and offers no roadside assistance. So if you buy your warranty a week BEFORE you original warranty expires, then you would have to wait 30 days (or longer depending upon how often you drive) and drive the 1k miles.

So for me I will be going with Warranty Direct.
