In Reply to: clicking noise from clutch pedal..... posted by alex on May 15, 2001 at 22:44:55:

i hear 2 clicks when i push my clutch pedal in. what could this be? going for inspection 1 tomorrow, having dealer check it out. could it be related to my sport clutch/lightweight flywheel? thanks.

Only one click - but it's intermittent. Happens when pedal pushed about 20% down. No effect on driveability but can hear and feel it. Suspect it could be bushings (same ones that cause squeak - but I have no squeak) or perhaps spring catching on something, or perhaps sticking plunger when going into cylinder. Just conjecture - no actual confirmation.

Please post your results or e-mail me with findings.
