My 95 (10/94) is one click when pushed real hard to floor while reaching into front pocket for example.

i hear 2 clicks when i push my clutch pedal in. what could this be? going for inspection 1 tomorrow, having dealer check it out. could it be related to my sport clutch/lightweight flywheel? thanks.

If you hear (and feel) pedal going all the way to the floor but it also feels like the pedal is slipping to one side or the other off the factory clutch bumper/stop on the floor, making a kind of clicking noise - then read on. Visually check the clutch stop. It should have a rubber covering. Sometimes, due to "clutch pedal slop" this rubber cover can be lifted off. It could be lying on the floor nearby or maybe came out of the car. Cheap part. Anyway, if the clutch stop (factory one I am referring to here) looks like hard plastic then the rubber covering came off. It's quite easy for the clutch pedal to now slip off the hard plastic when you press way down, like when you're getting change. Alternatively, you could have so much slop that the pedal is mssing or slipping off the stop even with the rubber covering. You can consider Ron Stygar's clutch pedal fix to remove side-to-side slop (Unofficial BMW site link below). I have heard some good reports about it (search archives too for more info).

Hope that helps,
Norm
