I live in nor cal where it is going to be 90F plus for awhile. I've always used 15w-50 mobil one synthetic, and have always had lifter noise (tapping). Will a 5W-30 or 10W-30 help fix this?I've used 10W-30 before and i noticed the car revs much quicker, but is it at a loss of high rpm protection, what you think? The car is a 95 with almost 80,000 mi.
