which cyclinder has different compression reading. you can get the compression reader from sears for about $25 as i recalled.

normal reading should be somewhere between 210-220.

if only the head cracks, should runs you about $2-3000.

if the block cracks too, you will need to replace the whole engine for $4000-6000 + labor.
