I know that engines, by nature, perform better when the difference from engine to ambient temp is greatest. You know, the whole heat trasfer, physics stuff.

At any rate, I live in Vegas, and it is already getting up around 100F. I just bought the car around 3 weeks ago, and it seems much quicker at when I drive at night. Specifically, it seems to rev quicker when it's cooler.

Anyone else experience this? What can be done to lessen this effect?

...maybe I'm just getting used to the car and spoiled by the speed...

Thanks,

Jeff
