I brought my M3 in for routine service and they tell me to bring it back in for some more repairs. No problem, they gotta order parts.

Three weeks later, I kinda remember that I need to bring it back in for them to add something on when my airbag light comes on. Luckily, BMWNA was following up on the service call and they said that the dealer should have sent out a card saying the part was in. Maybe the mail's a little slow....nope, it's been over a month since they replaced some sensor. No courtesy card or anything.

Another gripe is how many dealers you know have to take their customer's cars 5 miles on the highway to service it. I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't want some dealer employee driving my baby on the highway to a remote garage to do service. (I'd rather do that myself)

Like I said before, THOSE BASTARDS!

They import these great cars. I can get any part I want in a matter of hours. They offer great service (if you want to pay out the wazzu). Fixing cars is NOT an exact science, there is a lot of trial and error. I think we should lay off the dealer. They're just trying to run a business, while selling and maintaining imperfect machines.
